Louisiana musician Renée Reed has announced her debut album via Austin label Keeled Scales with its enigmatic lead single 'Fast One'. When listening you get the feeling of being a fly on the wall in Reed's creative bubble, as intricate acoustic guitar reverberates and bounces off the walls. Keeping the instrumentation simple without drums, Reed's gossamer vocal tones exist inhibition-less in an ambient space that allows her heartfelt lyrics to shine. Haunting and raw, Reed describes the track and album as "Full of anger over the shallow, shitty behavior of certain acquaintances I’ve had over the last few years, people who assume they know more about me than I do.
